Relationship Advice on Character Issues

One of our favorite quotes from the world of sports is...

"Athletic competition doesn't build character so much as it reveals character..."

The same can probably be said of relationships.

The longer you're in a relationship, the more you learn about the character--or lack of character--of the other person.

Another of our favorite sayings is, "Your character is your destiny..."

Where relationships are concerned, the other person's character can also be your destiny.

Your destiny can be disastrous if that other person’s character turns out to be bad, and you don't recognize it soon enough.
